It’s a good time to get a head-start on your Christmas baking, especially if you are making your own Christmas cake. Because of the richness of the ingredients, the baked goods will keep quite well in the refrigerator in sealed containers. There is no need to chill the Christmas cake as this will slow the mellowing process.
